Smarter doors
Salamanca, Colón and the north
In short
Salamanca nightlife in 2026 is as much Colón, Recoletos and Chamartín as it is the old barrio. Gunilla is on Paseo de Recoletos. Gabana, Nazca and Tiffany’s are further north. Dress smart. This is one club and a taxi, not a pub crawl.
Why the map moved
The centre ran out of room for new clubs. Since the pandemic, openings have piled into Tetuán, AZCA, Orense and the Colón triangle. Local press in October 2026 was still pointing at Recoletos — Gunilla among them — as the strip pulling the Saturday crowd away from Ponzano and Jorge Juan.
Go smart. A group of men in trainers is the slowest queue. Book the table only if you actually want a bottle; a normal ticket is enough on an ordinary night.
Updated 26 October 2026. Hours and prices are typical 2026 ranges, not a live door price. Confirm the night before you go.

Questions people ask
Where should I stay for Salamanca nightlife?
In Salamanca or Chamberí if you want a quiet morning and will pay for taxis. Do not stay in a club basement flat on Recoletos unless you sleep through bass.
Is Jorge Juan still the night?
It is still a dinner and drinks street. The newer club energy the newspapers are covering is Recoletos, Colón and the north, not another tapas crawl.
