Madrid nightlife tonight depends on the weekday. Thursday to Sunday, clubs are open across Sol, Huertas, Chueca, Colón and Chamartín. Monday to Wednesday, assume a short list: Joy Eslava in the centre, and whatever single event is actually ticketed. The room is not busy at midnight. It is busy after 1:30am.
Which day is tonight?
- 01Thursday — student and local night. Mondo Disko is a real electronic date, not a rehearsal.
- 02Friday — the fullest local night. Kapital, Gabana, Gunilla, Joy.
- 03Saturday — tourists plus locals. Buy ahead for Kapital, Fitz and anything with a guest artist.
- 04Sunday — thinner, unless it is a holiday eve. Halloween week 2026 is the exception.
- 05Monday–Wednesday — do not tour five clubs. Pick one central room or stay in bars.
Halloween 2026 is Saturday 31 October. The club week runs from Wednesday 28 October, and Monday 2 November is a public holiday in the Community of Madrid, so that Sunday night will not look like a normal Sunday.

Bars in Malasaña and Chueca, and a few central clubs such as Joy Eslava. The megaclubs and the Salamanca doors are mostly dark. Treat it as a bar night.
What time should we leave the apartment?
If you want bars, leave after dinner, around 11:30pm. If you only want a club, leaving before 1am puts you in an empty room and a long queue later.
